Our Surfing and Sailing School was founded in 1964 and has been run as a family business ever since, now in its third gereration. For almost six decades, we have been sharing our love for watersports with enthusiasts of all ages.

We are the right spot for watersport lovers as well as for admirers of nature. Whether you want to practise windsurfing, wingsurfing, sailing or stand-up-paddling or if you want to go for a ride with a pedal boat – even if you just want to habe a drink at our beach bar and enjoy the stunning sunset, you should definitely come to visit us.

The spot
Located at the northern beach of Podersdorf am See, our school ist at the perfect spot to learn and practice water sports.

Lake Neusiedl is a popular destination for people in love with watersports and Podersdorf am See has the longest shore free from reed and mud, offering solid soil. With an average depth of 1.15m and its shallow beaches, the lake is the perfect place for beginners and for advanced surfers and sailors. The consistent wind conditions with winds blowing all year in combination with the mild Pannonian climate make our windsurfing and sailing base the perfect spot to practice and to learn a watersport.

• Classes

We offer group lessons as well as private classes for all levels and all ages in windsurfing, wingsurfing and sailing. With years of experience in watersports, our certified instructors bring a wealth of knowledge to each lesson. We are committed to helping you develop your skills in an enjoyable environment. 

 

• Rental

At our rental base the latest windsurfing equipment from Duotone and Fanatic is available for you. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, we've got you covered. Besides windsurf equipment you can rent stand-up-paddling boards, small sailing boats (we kindly ask you to present your sailing license), kayaks and pedal boats with us.

You have your own equipment and you are tired of carrying your gear around? With us you can store your equipment at a safe place right on the beach. Contact us for storage availability and prices.

• Beach Bar

Our cozy beach bar, also known as Kurtl's Spritzerhütte, is the perfect spot for a sundowner. Here you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and simply relax. Additionally, you will be provided with drinks and snacks here during your surfing or sailing breaks.
