Our Surfing and Sailing School was founded in 1964 and has been run as a family business ever since, now in its third generation. For almost six decades, we have been sharing our love for watersports with enthusiasts of all ages.

We are the perfect spot for watersport lovers as well as for admirers of nature. Whether you want to windsurf, wingsurf, sail or stand-up-paddle or if you want to go for a ride in a pedal boat - even if you just want to have a drink at our beach bar and enjoy the stunning sunset, you should definitely come visit us.

The Spot

Located on the northern shore of Podersdorf am See, our school is the perfect spot to learn and practice water sports.
Lake Neusiedl is a popular destination for people in love with watersports, and Podersdorf am See has the longest shore free from reeds and mud. With an average depth of 1.15m and its shallow beaches, the lake is the perfect place for beginners and for advanced surfers and sailors. The consistent wind conditions with winds blowing all year in combination with the mild Pannonian climate make our windsurfing and sailing base the perfect spot to practice and learn watersports.

• Classes

We offer group lessons as well as private classes for all levels and all ages in windsurfing, wingsurfing and sailing. With years of experience in watersports, our certified instructors bring a wealth of knowledge to each lesson. We are committed to helping you develop your skills in an enjoyable environment. 

 

• Rental

At our surf base the latest windsurfing and windsurfing equipment from Duotone and Fanatic is available for you to rent. Whether you are a beginner or a pro, we've got you covered. In addition to windsurf-equipment you can rent stand-up-paddling boards, small sailboats, kayaks and pedal boats at our surfing and sailing school. If you want to rent a sailboat we kindly ask you to show your sailing license at check-in.

• Equipment Storage

You have your own equipment and you're tired of carrying your gear around? With us you can store your equipment in a safe place right on the beach. Contact us for storage availability and pricing information.

• Beach Bar

At our cozy beach bar, also known as Kurtl's Spritzerhütte, you can enjoy the most beautiful sunsets and simply relax. Additionally, you will be provided with drinks and snacks here during your surfing and sailing breaks. It is also the perfect location for corporate and private events.
